L'oeuvre Léger award
All finalists in the Forces AVENIR college program will also have the chance to win an international internship offered by L’OEUVRE LÉGER. Details will be unveiled soon.
L’OEUVRE LÉGER’S prize is an international cooperation internship within a developing country.
The type of internship, the dates, destination and general terms and conditions will be determined by L’OEUVRE LÉGER, after discussion with the recipient.
L’OEUVRE LÉGER is responsible for all expenses relating to the internship (including pre-departure training and testimonial activities upon returning) in accordance with its travel expenses policy. The recipient is responsible for all personal expenses.
The award will be presented during the Forces AVENIR gala.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the award, candidates just answer the three questions included on the on-line form available on Forces AVENIR website. The responses to each question must not exceed 10 lines. The three questions are the following:
1. What motivates you to participate in an international internship?
2. How do you intend to pursue your commitment and contribute building a better world?
3. According to you, what is the best way to share and broadcast your overseas internship experience? (for example in your milieu, your school, your network)
SELECTION PROCESS
The candidates of Forces AVENIR four categories who will have answered to the three questions related to L’OEUVRE LÉGER prize will be eligible. An independent panel will consider each application and will select the prize-winner of L’OEUVRE LÉGER ‘ s prize.
The prizewinner will be selected according to the quality of his/her answers to the questions submitted on the Forces AVENIR registration form.
The selection process will be based on the following criteria:
- Interest and motivation
- Envolvment once back from internship
OTHER CONDITIONS
The internship will be completed within the year following the prize awarded and according to the availability of both the prizewinner and L’OEUVRE LÉGER. In the case the internship should not be executed during the period prescribed, L’OEUVRE LÉGER will no longer be responsible for or will carry any obligation towards the prizewinner.
The prizewinner must participate in pre-departure and debriefing orientations. When returning, he/she will commit him/her-self to get involved within its community and share the experience in his/her own community and with L’OEUVRE LÉGER.
No money transfer, exchange or any other monetary compensation will be possible.
