ACHIEVEMENTS OF COMMITTED STUDENTS
UNIVERSITY PROGRAM

The Forces AVENIR university program aims to recognize, honour and promote the achievements of students who have exhibited remarkable excellence and commitment while rigorously pursuing their university studies.

The program, which is accessible to all university students, embraces all spheres of activity in society and thus reaches out to the greatest number of students possible.

Supported by over 75 public and private partners, the Forces AVENIR university program is open to more than 200,000 students and mobilizes universities across the province. This recognized program has increased in scope year after year, gaining public attention by way of more than 1,000 visibility spots on the RDI television channel and publicity in over 600,000 copies of newspapers throughout the province thanks to the generous collaboration of the Gesca group (La Presse, Le Soleil, Le Nouvelliste, Le Droit, La Tribune, Le Quotidien and La Voix de l’Est).

The selection process is carried out according to strict criteria and supervised by an independent jury made up of well-known figures who have distinguished themselves both in their personal careers and for the contribution they have made to the development of Québec.

Finally, every year the Forces AVENIR program organizes a gala to honour and reward the students from universities across the province of Québec. Grants totalling $114,000, international internships and extraordinary visibility are thus offered to the finalists and award recipients.
