The students in Planning and Environmental Forestry at the Université Laval cherish the integrated management of our resources. Under the theme La forêt… ça change d’air!, they organized the Semaine des sciences forestières, a veritable forum on burning issues in the field of forestry such as environmental protection and biological diversity protection. The week-long forum was structured along two main lines: a series of colloquia and evening lectures, as well as a major exhibition, all aimed at promoting forestry activities and new ways of managing resources. Moreover, the Salon de la forêt exhibition, held at the Galeries de la Capitale shopping centre, brought together over 100 future professionals and attracted nearly 20,000 people interested in visiting the 50 stands.
