His 280-page business proposal has won several awards. In academe, Miguel has received a number of honourable mentions for his gifted speaking, his debate skills and his involvement in community work. His commitment to social causes emerged when he was just 13 years old, with the founding of the Mad Carollers Guild, which since that time has collected thousands of dollars for various charitable outfits in the Montreal area.
