Carrefour Emploi 2001

Business and economy

Carrefour Emploi 2001
The key to success is what the student organizers of the 25th edition of the Carrefour Emploi of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières had to offer. This annual event consists essentially of stimulating exchanges on job perspectives and current job market requirements in various fields. In an effort to introduce new ideas, the Carrefour Emploi 2001 made numerous major and significant innovations. In particular, the Carrefour widened its clientele by inviting the students of the Cégep de Trois-Rivières to participate in the event. The organizers also designed and established a Web site devoted in its entirety to the Carrefour Emploi and aimed at employers. Moreover, they designed and produced a 32-page newspaper with a circulation of 1,500 copies with the goal of helping and guiding the visiting students. With an almost non-existent outlay, the 25th edition made a profit of $7,000, twice as much as the previous year.
