Promoting Eco-Friendly Alternatives in Clothing Consumption
Heightening public awareness of the impact of the overconsumption of textiles and encouraging people to adopt more responsible buying patterns is the mission pursued by the medical students who devised the Récup ta mode project. Thanks to an avant-garde fashion show interspersed with commentary on the reuse of second-hand clothing and the creation of fashions using recycled fabrics, the event organizers raised awareness of our choices in clothing while proving that it is possible to be environmentally friendly without having to sacrifice style.
