The ENDEAVOURS OF CARDINAL LÉGER Award: International Internship

AWARD

1. L'OEUVRE Léger award is an internship in international cooperation in a developing country.
2. The type of internship, dates, location and general terms and conditions will be determined by L'OEUVRE Léger award following discussions with the recipient.
3. L'OEUVRE Léger award is responsible for all expenses relating to the internship (including pre-departure training and testimonial activities upon returning) in accordance with its travel expense policy. The recipient is responsible for all personal expenses.
4. The award will be presented during the Forces AVENIR high school gala.

ELIGIBILITY

1. To be eligible for the award, candidates must answer the three questions on the online application form available on the Forces AVENIR website. The responses to each question must not exceed 10 lines. The three questions are as follows:

• Why are you interested and motivated to participate in an international internship?

• In what way would your involvement in your community benefit from this experience?

• What do you think would be the best way to share your experience in international cooperation with others? (For example, the people in your community, at your school, your friends and family)

SELECTION PROCESS

1. All finalists in the four Forces AVENIR categories who have answered the three L'OEUVRE Léger award's questions are eligible. An independent jury will examine the applications and then select the recipient of the Léger Award.
2. The recipient will be selected based on the quality of the responses to the three questions on the Forces AVENIR application form.
3. The recipient will be selected according to the following criteria:

• Interest and motivation

• Involvement upon returning

OTHER CONDITIONS

1. The internship must be carried out within one year after the date the award was granted, according to the availability of L'OEUVRE Léger award and the recipient. If the internship is not carried out within the prescribed period of time, the ENDEAVOURS OF CARDINAL LÉGER shall be released from any or all liability or obligation toward the recipient.
2. Recipients must take part in a pre-departure training course and agree to get involved and share their experience with the community, their milieu and L'OEUVRE Léger award upon returning.
3. No transfer, exchange or partial or full monetary compensation will be permitted.
