THE SELECTION PROCESS


During the application period, the members of the jury will meet every week to select a weekly winner for each of the regions, alternating between the four categories. 

Starting in January 2010, the 24 weekly winners will be presented to the population in the newspaper Le Soleil, La Presse or Le Quotidien, depending on the region. Moreover, the winners may have the opportunity to give interviews on the radio or on television in the weeks following the announcement of their selection. It is up to the finalists to be available for interviews with journalists or television and radio hosts.

 In May, after interviewing all the weekly winners, the Grand Jury will select the regional winners, that is to say those who will be awarded an AVENIR trophy at the regional galas.
