Évelyne Boisvert-Beauregard
A BA student in Cultural Animation and Research at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Évelyne Boisvert-Beauregard has a thirst for culture and social commitment. In fact, while pursuing her studies, she was an activities leader at a community centre, a cultural leader for the Artiste à l’école program, a child care worker and a radio host. Full of creativity and leadership, she was an intern with Québec sans frontières in Bolivia in 1998 and a guide with Défi-Aventure Québec-Caraïbes in Cuba in 1999. This experience has confirmed her belief that social commitment through community development, heightening public awareness and cultural intervention are to be the driving forces behind her activities. She is currently in Peru where she will be able to complete her training as well as make the most of her personal resources in order to promote durable development.
