La Vitrine étudiante
In the past, major universal exhibitions presented the latest breakthroughs in the arts, science and technology worldwide. Why not apply the concept to student achievements? Thanks to a group of students from Laval University, the concept is now reality. On March 29 and 30, 2000 Laval University’s confederation of student associations (CADEUL) presented La Vitrine étudiante, an on-campus activity showcasing 120 achievements by 350 students enrolled in 11 different faculties. This première attracted 2,500 visitors and much praise. In addition, setting up the La Vitrine étudiante allowed a number of budding organizers to gain hands-on experience in the completion of a hypothetical project.
